I had my babies out in the desert and brought them here after they were weaned. It looked like a safe place with plenty of food and water. It took me a few months to trust these humans, but I got along well with all the cats living here.
On October 31, 2002, I finally decided to let them bring me inside. My kits were not so willing, but it was so cold out.
I have a favorite room that I stay in most of the time. In the summer I prefer to be outside.

I was the first to come out in the open, but didn't really want to get near the humans. They tried to be friendly, but I wasn't interested. Then it got really cold and they caught me in a trap. I was only in the cage for a few minutes, but sure didn't like that. Then I hid under a chair for a long time, til I got to know everyone. We all get along pretty good, and I like Tuffy the best. I'll never go outside again, but still don't like the humans.

I was the second one to come out and thought I might get friendly with the humans. Mew kept saying I had the cutest face she ever, ever saw.
After I was caught and brought inside I got comfortable pretty fast. The other cats here are friendly and there's lots of cozy places to nap. The humans didn't bother me too much. Then one day they threw a blanket over me and took me for the "new tour". For a long time after that I hid from them, and only came out when I knew they had treats for me.

They almost didn't see me, 'cos I hide really well. They did catch me and bring inside, right after they caught my brother and sister. I have a lot more hiding places inside, but when they brought treats I made sure to stick my head out. Just so they knew where to feed me. Like my brother and sister, I don't want anything to do with humans, but don't need to hide so much anymore.
