crow brought me here and stayed with me the first summer. There were 2
dogs living here then, and they were both bigger and much older than
me. They didn't pay much attention to me, but I always tried to play
with them anyway. After I was here for 2 months, the humans said I was staying and took me for a "new tour". In 2003 both other dogs went to the Rainbow Bridge and another big, old dog moved in. He didn't play with me either, but we got along good. Then he went to the Bridge in 2004, and soon after that Kianga moved in. I'm not sure if I like her all the time, but she's fun to run with down the driveway. | |||

| The cats get all the attention around
here... I wish I was a cat. I like all the cats, though. They are fun to cuddle with, and they play with me, too. | |||

| I
lived in a cage with another dog at the same house where Trinity and
her kids lived. I got out one time when the humans were leaving and I
wouldn't let them catch me. I'm afraid of humans. Then I noticed all the other animals were gone and the humans never came back. I got hungry and thirsty and found this yard with the gate open. So I went inside and found food and water and neat hiding places. I was afraid of cats, too, and there are so many here! After hiding for a couple months, these humans discovered me. Everyday after that they sat close to where I hid and talked to me, and left me treats. It took me a long time to trust them, but I guess they're ok. They never yell at me and always bring me great treats. The cats aren't as scary anymore either. I just don't ever want to go in the house. I like my world just like it is. Luna didn't like me at first, but we get along ok most of the time now. April 12, 2005: The humans brought me in the house! They put me in a room and Mew stayed in there with me all night. In the morning they took me for a "new tour", then put me back in the room. I was so very unhappy, so they took me back to my yard the next day. June 6, 2006: Luna and I had to get shots today and then I got shaved. That was really scary, but I was so nice and cool all summer. | |||

| December 14, 2008: These silly furless creatures just don't get it. They brought me in the house again, 'cos they said it's colder than it's ever been since I lived here. I stayed in a corner all night, the next day and the next night and hardly moved. I hate being in the house! | |||

| They took me back to my yard the next day and I think they finally understand. I ran around all over and rolled in the snow. I'm so happy here! I just want to stay right here. There are plenty of places for me to stay warm, and now they're giving me an extra special treat every night. | |||
